About St. Croix Records

St. Croix County Busted Mugshots is a private reference service for people trying to identify the right official source for a jail listing, booking record, court case, or Wisconsin corrections record. The Sheriff portal, records custodian, circuit court, and Wisconsin Department of Corrections each cover a different part of that path. No booking-photo gallery is hosted here.

How the Record Paths Work

Wisconsin public-record access does not put every record in one online database. The St. Croix County Sheriff's Office operates the current-custody roster and holds Sheriff booking materials. Wisconsin Circuit Court Access tracks the case after filing, while the Wisconsin Department of Corrections locator serves people in DOC custody or supervision. A focused public-record request can be appropriate when a person needs a document that is not part of the current roster.

The local roster does not display booking photographs in its present public configuration. That fact matters. A photo that may exist in an agency file is not automatically a web-published image. This site points readers to the custodian and the legal process instead of copying, collecting, or displaying photographs.

Resources Collected Here

The material is organized around the actual St. Croix County record systems and their limits.

  • The countywide booking and custody reference, including the official roster, records-request route, court path, and Wisconsin DOC locator.
  • The Sheriff active-warrant portal and safety-focused information on Wanted Fugitives.
  • Local reporting outlets and the route from a report to an official record in Arrest News.
  • City-specific reference pages for River Falls, Hudson, and New Richmond, each tied to its own police-record process.

Limits of This Service

This is an independently operated reference site. It is not connected with the St. Croix County Sheriff's Office, St. Croix County Jail, Wisconsin DOC, a court, or any other public agency. It cannot access agency files, verify a person's status, or make an official determination about a record.

  • It cannot release, transfer, or hold someone in custody.
  • It cannot post a bond, arrange a visit, or send funds for a person.
  • It cannot give legal advice or interpret a court order.
  • It cannot guarantee that an office contact, fee, or online interface has not changed.

Only the responsible sheriff, jail, court, or corrections office can confirm a current custody status, charge, release, or record availability.

Search-Partner Disclosure

Some pages contain search boxes run by independent providers. Those providers set their own terms, prices, and results. If a visitor later chooses a paid provider offering, this site may receive a referral fee that helps support free access to the reference material. That arrangement does not give this site control over a partner's records, pricing, data practices, or search results.
